All work continues to be under the direct supervision, review and approval of a CPA from our firm.

The contracts outline the appropriate use and handling of your personal information and prohibit third parties from using any of your personal information for purposes unrelated to the product or service for which they've been contracted. Vendors are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information we provide to them.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable law and federal standards. We use both internal and external resources to review our security procedures. Whenever we prompt you to transmit sensitive information, such as tax return or credit card information, we support the encryption of your information as it is transmitted to us. Our associates and staff are trained and required to safeguard your information. That said, in today's technology environment, absolute guarantees of complete information security are not possible. Hackers and others may be able to penetrate our security defenses and access your data which is stored on our systems. Preparation and Electronic Filing of Tax Returns: "Tax return information" is information that you provide to KSF CPA Services LLC to prepare your tax returns. The use and disclosure of tax return information is governed by Section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code and many state codes and regulations. Additionally, as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kenneth S. Folberg, CPA and any associate CPA’s in our firm, strictly adhere to the Institute’s Code of Professional Ethics. KSF CPA Services LLC discloses or uses your tax return information only in accordance with applicable laws: to prepare, assist in preparing, or obtain or provide services in connection with preparing your tax returns; or to provide you with the products and services you specifically request or consent.
Data Entry Links: Data Entry Links allows you or, with your approval, our firm to retrieve and enter tax information automatically from sources such as participating employers, brokerages, payroll companies, mortgage companies, and mutual fund companies, directly onto the correct forms in our tax software. When you download information from such tax information providers, personal information may be required to authenticate the account holder, such as the user name, account number and/or password you normally use to access the information on the participating site. KSF CPA Services LLC uses this personal information solely for the purpose of providing authentication to the tax information provider and it is not retained by KSF CPA Services LLC after the tax return is filed. The data transmissions between KSF CPA Services LLC and the information sources are encrypted.
Data Transfer: KSF CPA Services LLC may import data from your prior year's tax return or other systems. We use industry recognized security safeguards during the transmission of this data over the Internet.
Payment of Federal Balance Due via Credit Card or Electronic Check: If you would like to pay your federal balance due by credit card or electronic check (withdrawal directly from your bank account), the IRS requires your name, Social Security Number, and balance due. If you select the credit card or electronic check payment option, including payment through electronic filing, you are giving your consent for KSF CPA Services LLC to gather this information from your tax return and transmit it securely to our payment processor. Our payment processing partner uses this information solely to process payment of your federal and/or state taxes. If you don't want this information transmitted to our payment partner, we recommend payment by check. Electronic Archiving of Tax Returns: KSF CPA Services LLC will store your tax returns and other documents in PDF or similar file formats. We do not use the content of your files for any other purpose.
